Phallus Über Alles - Iron Woman (Fatal)

"When I was a teenager, I went to the beach with my parents one summer down in Florida, the sunshine state. I ended up hanging out with this bleach blonde babe named Tammy. Tammy told me all about the time she was on the Jerry Springer show. The topic was Rohypnol, the so-called date rape drug, which guys slip into women's drinks in order to make them go all funny and black out, and the woman wakes up the following day having no recollection of what happened the night before. Tammy was no victim, though; she was an empowered woman. She told Jerry, "I like Rohypnol." She'd take it recreationally, whenever she wanted to feel good, like it was ecstasy or a stiff drink. Jerry couldn't believe how any woman would want to take Rohypnol. Tammy's response: "Fuck you, Jerry. I like the date rape drug…and I also like date rape!"

Tammy was the first empowered woman I ever met. Although she didn't put out in the end, she didn't kick my ass, either, so at least I should be grateful for that. Anyway, I think Tammy would definitely dig this new group Phallus Über Alles, not just because it consists of empowered women, but because there's a song called "Rohypnol" on their latest album, Iron Woman. The sound, by the way, is an intriguing mixture of digital hardcore, breakcore, "whorecore," and drum and bass, with angry in-your-face lyrics hurled at us like bricks through a window. Listening to this makes me wonder who would win if the members of Phallus Über Alles were to engage in a kickboxing match with Alec Empire for the title of Digicore King. All I know is, I wouldn't wanna referee that one. But I'm sure Jerry would."
