PUA from the grave!!!
Actually, we’ve been wicked busy playing shows and working on new material since we last updated, we’ve just been terrible about putting it on the website.
September was a crazy month for us what with the show in Toronto (Schizoid is the awesomest for putting that thing on, we owe him a kidney) and the gig with Larvae here in Detroit. The Digital Hardcore Fest in Toronto was an absolute blast! Finally meeting up with the musicians from Schizoid, Hansel and Unitis was an undeniable pleasure and we enjoyed the city of Toronto immensely.
Larvae were just as nice as we remembered them from the ‘04 DEMF and they had a great visual component to their music. The best part was the recreation of the Tianamen Square incident with the tanks from Combat (Atari). Blaerg & Life Toward Twilight rocked our britches, as always.
For Halloween, we played a monsterous Zombie-themed Halloween show for a local production being filmed in Detroit by the name of InZero. Siddhartha, Oscillating Fanclub and, of course, PUA were the bands for the night. Diesel also showcased her newest rubber fashions for Road Rash Rubber that night. Emma was unable to perform with us so we dressed as zombies and asked our buddy Clark from EE33 to help us out on stage. Best. Zombie. Intro. Evar.
In November, Brandie Doll invited us to play her Dollhouse Massacre 2 at Mephisto’s with Only Flesh, DJ Andy LaPlegua (Combichrist), and DJ Little Mack which was a great show, as all shows with Brandie are. Katy Mozal & Nerve Damage presented a fashion show, as well.
