New shows, new songs
It can never be said that we’re not open to new experiences. After the show on Friday evening with all varieties of meTal bands in Ypsilanti, I think we’re up for just about anything at this point.
The next scheduled show coming up is in Bowling Green, Ohio, at the Bowling Green Student Union on Saturday, March 26. The show is from 3pm-10pm with Oxymoronatron (synth rock), Johnny Headband (synth rock), Juffage (indie), Trephination (metal), and A Beautiful SMile (emo).
In other news, we’re working on beefing up our old pre-Iron Woman material. Much of that will be instrumental, some of the harsher noisy drum n’ bass that we did at our inception. We’re thinking about doing a tag-team live DJ set of the old material before our PÜA set proper, particularly for more electronic audiences.
In addition, we’re working on a series of fun and fabulous covers to add to our live sets. Perhaps we were inspired by the Sabbath cover band we were billed with on Friday, perhaps we’re finally giving in to the over-excited fans hidden deep inside of us, but whatever the reason, so far it is a hilarious and beautiful thing.
